Privacy Policy

Data Collection and Use

FeedLens - RSS Feed Preview respects your privacy. FeedLens has a single purpose: to preview RSS, Atom, XML, and OPML feeds in a clean reader-style view so users can quickly inspect feed content before subscribing.

FeedLens does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The extension does not provide user accounts and does not upload your browsing activity, feed URLs, or feed content to any external server.

  1. Feed content: When you open an RSS, Atom, XML, or OPML document, FeedLens reads and renders that document locally in your browser. This processing is used only to generate the preview interface.
  2. Local state: FeedLens may store a small amount of local interface state, such as whether an OPML subscription card has been clicked, to show a visited visual state. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
  3. Clipboard actions: When you click a copy button, FeedLens writes the selected RSS or OPML URL to your clipboard. This only happens after your explicit click.
  4. Remote content: FeedLens may fetch the feed document at the URL you opened. These documents are treated as page content for local preview rendering, not as executable remote code.

Permissions

FeedLens requests the following permissions only to support its single feed preview purpose:

Third-Party Services

FeedLens does not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, or account services. All extension scripts, styles, icons, and bundled libraries are packaged with the extension. FeedLens does not load executable code from remote servers.

Data Sharing

FeedLens does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. FeedLens does not use user data for purposes unrelated to feed previewing.
